The candidate will lead a team to design, implement and maintain platform software of Actiontec Home Networking products.
Job Description
7-10 years of experience in design and development of software for embedded Linux platforms. Hands on experience with embedded software development for networking products. Experienced on Linux kernel/application debugging and development. Knowledge about various carrier network architectures ATM, IP, boardband networks including IPV4 & IPV6 networks implementation. In-depth knowledge of all routing technologies, i.e., layer 2 to 7 TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IGMP, QoS, VLAN, VPN, etc. as it relates to broadband gateway products in the home. Experience with public carrier network implementations for broadband transport & services. Knowledge design and experience with all transport bases technologies WiFi, MoCA, Ethernet, HPNA, Power line. Team player with good communication skills. "Hands on" manager with proven leadership skills. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, M.S. degree is a plus.
