Actiontec's Skype-Certified VoSKY Product Line To Be Distributed In UK And Ireland By Azlan
Products Offer Flexible Business and Home Use for Skype

SUNNYVALE, CA and BASINGSTOKE, UK (August 2, 2006) - Actiontec Electronics today announced a new distributor agreement for its VoSKY™ family of Skype-certified products with Azlan, the Enterprise business unit of Tech Data Europe, serving resellers throughout the UK and Ireland. The agreement covers VoSKY Exchange, the first solution that enables businesses to take advantage of Skype's Internet phone service, as well as three other VoSKY products for making Skype calls from home phones, mobile phones, and hands-free speakerphones.

Effective immediately, the complete range of VoSKY products will be available to resellers and retailers though Azlan. The products include VoSKY Chatterbox, a plug-and-play USB speakerphone enabling users to make headset-free Skype calls through their PCs; VoSKY Internet Phone Wizard, a small hardware accessory that allows users to make and receive Skype calls on any traditional handset; VoSKY Call Center, a peripheral that extends Skype calls to any mobile phone; and VoSKY Exchange, a PBX add-on that enables every phone extension in the office to make and receive Skype or regular phone calls.

"Internet phone calls are becoming more mainstream and Skype users all over the world are replacing their headsets with VoSKY products and integrating VoIP technology into their everyday lives as well as business environments that previously could not use Skype at all," said Gunjan Bhow, Actiontec's Vice President of Marketing. "Our agreement with such leading distributors like Azlan further strengthens our sales presence in Europe, and demonstrates value and the market demand for our VoSKY product line."

"There are now more than 100 million Skype users around the world and Skype's growing significance, especially in the SMB market, makes this a very exciting opportunity," said Lee Perkins, Director of Azlan UK. "VoSKY products help to bring Skype to the user's familiar phone interfaces and environments. Whether they are at home, in the office, or on a mobile phone, VoSKY solutions make this integration very easy and seamless."
