Connecting an Ethernet hub or switch will extend the capabilities of the Actiontec Gateway or Router. Just run a standard Ethernet cable from the UPLINK port of the new hub or switch to a LAN port on the Actiontec Gateway or Router. Then connect the power supply to the hub or switch.
If the Actiontec device you are using has a USB port, one Windows (98 SE or newer) PC can be connected by that method, once the USB driver has been installed.
Naturally, if the Actiontec device is wireless capable, additional network devices can be connected if they are compatible with the wireless mode and security in use by that particular router or gateway.
