(To identify your Actiontec product, look for the model number. It is located on the FCC sticker, found on the bottom or back of the product. Typically the model number is in the sticker's upper right hand corner.)

The firmware update program runs on Windows 9x, NT4 and 2000, but will not operate in other OS environments. It is recommended not to flash under Windows 2000. Flash32.exe can occasionally cause problems in 2000, including causing a general lockup of the computer. The downloads includes a 'Readme.txt' with firmware loading instructions and diagnostics.

Clicking the link above will initiate the download, and at the prompt 'Do you want to run or save this file?' select 'Save'. At the following 'Save As' dialog, be sure to select a familiar location to save the file, like 'My Documents' or the 'Desktop', so that the file will be easy to find later.

(Our RAW Drivers do not use a 'Setup' program to install, instead they are installed via the Windows Hardware Wizard. Once the drivers are extracted the Wizard uses the INF file to install the driver.)
