The "I" at the end of the model number (FM560LKI) indicates that the modem is designated as International. Some of the International modems have additional software or language support, but not all. Sometimes the difference is minor or not even visible, but its presence, allows the modem to be used in other locals.
If there is additional software, it will be posted along with the documents, drivers or on the product CD.
The DataLink v.90 (International) is compatible with FAX modes, Class1 and Class 2.

| 2001-04-26 | Firmware Update - FM560LKI P620T3LKI NOTE: Actiontec Electronics will not provide a refund or replacement, for products that have failed due to the loading of incorrect firmware or the testing of custom firmware. (To identify your Actiontec product, look for the model number. It is located on the FCC sticker, found on the bottom or back of the product. Typically the model number is in the sticker's upper right hand corner.) The firmware update program runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000, but will not operate in other OS environments. This update is only for the FM560LKI modem. DO NOT use with the FM560LK model or your modem will become inoperable. The downloads includes a 'Readme.txt' with firmware loading instructions and diagnostics. Clicking the link above will initiate the download, and at the prompt 'Do you want to run or save this file?' select 'Save'. At the following 'Save As' dialog, be sure to select a familiar location to save the file, like 'My Documents' or the 'Desktop', so that the file will be easy to find later. |

| 1998-07-02 | Driver - DataLink V90 (FM560LKI) International Along with the RAW-Driver there is a TraveLink Country selection program included in the download for configuring the FM560LK modem for use in many countries, and another program that can provide Card & Socket Services for MS-DOS and Windows 3.x systems. (Our RAW Drivers do not use a 'Setup' program to install, instead they are installed via the Windows Hardware Wizard. Once the drivers are extracted, each Operating System has it's own folder with an INF file, that the Wizard uses to install the driver.)
