There are 4 different 56K PCI Lite modems, and the driver is different for each. The chipset must be checked to identify which one is installed. The PM560MS2 uses a Motorola chipset.
No Windows XP compatible driver is available for this modem.

| 2001-01-18 | Driver - PM560MS2 PCI Lite (Motorola) Modem There are drivers for Windows 98, NT4, ME and 2000 included in this download. There are several PCI Lite modems and it is important to get the correct driver for the modem that is installed. This driver is for the PCI Lite that has an Motorola chipset. Once the drivers are extracted, each Operating System has it's own folder with an Setup program, runnimg Setup installs the driver software. Clicking the link above will initiate the download, and at the prompt 'Do you want to run or save this file?' select 'Save'. At the following 'Save As' dialog, be sure to select a familiar location to save the file, like 'My Documents' or the 'Desktop', so that the file will be easy to find later. |
