Actiontec Wins 25 Industry Awards in 2011

Sunnyvale, Calif., March 19, 2012. Actiontec Electronics announced that it garnered a total of 25 industry awards for its products and technology innovations in 2011. The awards were presented from leading broadband industry, consumer electronics and business organizations.

Highlights from Actiontec’s 2011 award line-up include two CES Innovations 2012 honoree awards for excellence in design and engineering. The award-winning products are MyWirelessTV, a wireless HDTV solution that replaces HDMI cables, and the SG400 Service Gateway that powers the smart home by letting homeowners remotely check on their homes, control locks and appliances, view home-energy use and more.

Another key winner in 2011 is Actiontec’s 4G LTE Router which was named a finalist in CTIA’s Emerging Technology Awards, a runner-up in the 2011 Mobile Merit Awards, in addition to winning honors from Network Products Guide, a 2011 NGN Leadership award, and the 2011 American Business Awards (“The Stevies”).

Actiontec’s V2000H was awarded with a Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award, as well as several other industry awards. This ultra-fast VDSL Bonded Modem Router lets carriers deploy ultra-broadband service via ANY access architecture.

In addition, Actiontec’s online publication, CrossTalk, took home numerous recognitions, including The Stevies and Product Management/Marketing Initiative or Program of the Year by Network Products Guide. Actiontec was also honored with the first ever Marketing Partnership Award from Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) for its collaboration with TDS Telecom.
