The award was given by Network Products Guide, a noted technology research and advisory guide, in the 2013 Hot Companies and Best Products Awards. Winners were honored in Las Vegas on May 7, 2013 during the 8th annual dinner and presentations.

Actiontec was honored for its impressive revenue growth over the past year, as well as its achievement of becoming the number one IPTV/video gateway manufacturer in North America.
