Actiontec’s ScreenBeam and Wireless Network Adapter Using MoCA Honored With 2013 Technology Integrator EXC!TE Awards

Actiontec products honored as innovative, high-performing, and solutions-oriented for the custom installation professional

Sunnyvale, Calif. – September 5, 2013 – Actiontec Electronics announced today that two of its products have won 2013 Technology Integrator EXC!TE Awards, a distinctive honor in the custom installation professional industry. The winning products are ScreenBeam Wireless Display Kit and the Wi-Fi Wireless Network Adapter using MoCA.

Every year, Technology Integrator, formerly CustomRetailer, seeks nominations of products that stand out for being innovative, high-performing and solutions-oriented for the custom installation professional.

The award-winning ScreenBeam Wireless Display Kit lets users wirelessly and easily share content from a compatible computer, smartphone, or tablet to an HDTV. Movies, vacation photos, presentations, online videos and more come alive in brilliant HD on the largest display in the house. With ScreenBeam, friends and family can sit back and enjoy online content, home videos, and more on the big screen TV, rather than huddling around a laptop.

Actiontec’s second honored product, Wi-Fi Wireless Network Adapter using MoCA, helps eliminate dead zones in a home’s Wi-Fi network, so users can enjoy all their favorite devices in any room they choose. The adapter uses a wired MoCA connection and offers dual 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, giving it the best performance around for extending the home’s Wi-Fi network. In fact, the adapter is the first to offer dual-band concurrent radios for less congestion and better wireless performance.

“Both ScreenBeam and the Wireless MoCA adapter are important products in our whole home wireless and wireless display portfolios. We’re honored that Technology Integrator, one of the premier publications for residential A/V and custom installation professionals, has recognized the impact both products have on installers’ productivity and end user satisfaction,” said Brian Henrichs, chief business development officer at Actiontec Electronics.

The 2013 winners will be honored at the annual EXC!TE Awards celebration on September 26 during CEDIA EXPO and in the October issue of Technology Integrator. For more information on the EXC!TE winners, please visit:
