When HBO started HBO Now, it limited the Internet-only service to two customers: Apple and Cablevision. Now, the cable giant is expanding HBO Now’s reach by offering the service directly to Verizon customers.
“This agreement with Verizon represents the commitment our companies share to respond to changing consumer behavior through innovation, bringing audiences the best in entertainment the way they want it,” said Jeff Dallesandro, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Digital Distribution and Business Development, HBO.
Verizon customers can start a 30-day introductory free trial by signing up through the Verizon website, then downloading the HBO Now app onto a mobile device. After registering, users can watch HBO content through the app, or on their computers at HBONOW.com.
