According to a new survey, mobile devices are making their way into the classroom with increasing regularity. The survey reported that BYOD use or immediate planned use in secondary schools jumped from 60% in 2013 to 66% in 2014.

K-12 educators are more than willing to integrate technology at a much higher level than they are right now, but need more support and help. “The current level of technology integration has shown a slight, directional increase for both K-12 and postsecondary compared to 2013,” noted the survey. “The overarching message is that there is still a significant gap between the current and ideal level (of) technology integration.”
