According to DSL Reports last week, Verizon and Microsoft have partnered up to offer standalone FiOS Gig service and an Xbox Live Gold subscription for $80/month. Verizon geared this deal toward gamers claiming a faster connection means better gaming.

The Details

New customers will not only enjoy Gigabit broadband service, but along with it they’ll get for free a one-year Xbox Live Gold subscription and one multi-streamer game. Subscribers can choose between PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Sea of Thieves. Sign up by May 4th to get the deal.

Free Installation

To sweeten the pot even further, Verizon is waiving its $99 FiOS installation fee when customers sign up for the 1 Gigabit service.
