YouTube TV Now Supported on Firefox
Launched only a short time ago, YouTube TV has been hailed as a great product but slow to migrate to other platforms. Until recently, subscribers were only able to use the service using Google Chrome. However, Google recently lifted its browser restriction, allowing the service now to work on Firefox, too.
Google Chrome vs. Firefox
Google’s decision to loosen up browser restrictions was in part predicated on the fact that Firefox is significantly improved now that the developers have integrated “Quantum.” Since the upgrade, many users have been made the switch from Chrome to Firefox. For now, Google Chrome remains the number one browser used by most people.
Support for More Browsers
Google announced the news on their support page along with the promise of support for additional platforms and browsers coming soon.
