Garmin’s Smartwatch for People Who Aren’t Smartwatch Fans
The challenge with creating a smartwatch is balancing form and function. There are plenty of bulky alternatives out there that buzz and ding all day long, but for those that want a simple, classy design with a “less is more” mindset, Garmin has you covered.
The newest version of Garmin’s Vívomove HR is the perfect balance of sleek design with robust, hidden functionality.
The watch goes for $200. For that price you get a choice of black, rose or gold plastic housing, and a silicone strap. A higher-end version that comes with a leather strap, in gold or silver with a steel housing is available for $300.
The face boasts of a clean, numberless analog design with simple hour and minute hands with no visible buttons or crown.
Garmin promotes the smartwatch as a fitness device, and it is waterproof so you can wear it in the shower, swimming or while working out.
