Roku: Wireless Home Audio

Roku is entering the wireless home audio industry for the first time. The company hopes that its simple connectivity message will continue to resonate with consumers as they make this move.

Their expansion starts with TV wireless speakers, a pair of speakers that are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatible. These speakers are exclusively for Roku TVs. The Roku speakers are the first product to apply the Roku Connect software and branding, but they also introduced Roku Touch, a Wi-Fi remote with voice control.

The devices will ship as a bundle that includes two speakers, the Touch remote and Roku TV Voice remote for $199. If you pre-order before October 14, 2018, Roku has indicated it will give discounts up to $50.
