Video Streaming Customer Satisfaction Surpasses Traditional Pay-TV
According to the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Telecommunications Report, video streaming services scored higher customer satisfaction than traditional subscription pay-TV services.
The subscription pay-TV service score has remained consistent at 62 out of 100. Video streaming services scored 76 out of 100. Individual streaming services were also scored, with Netflix earning a 79, Vue at 78 and Microsoft Store at 77. Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and Apple iTunes scored 76.
Additional findings include:
- Streaming services that scored below industry standard include CBS All Access, Google Play, Amazon’s Twitch, Walmart’s Vudu, and YouTube.
- Pay-TV subscription sales also declined 3%.
