The ScreenBeam Mini2 is a receiving device that allows you to mirror whatever is on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop and wirelessly display it to a larger screen like a TV or projector screen. Wireless displays allow people to share content from their devices on a larger screen. This is called screen sharing or screen mirroring.
How Screen Sharing Works
Miracast is a common technology used in wireless screen mirroring. It is a wireless display standard that is designed for sharing device screens to a TV. It eliminates the need for an HDMI cable. Many Window and Android devices are already equipped with Miracast. To see if your device supports Miracast, look for an application or display setting that uses one of the following terms: screen mirroring, AllShareCast, cast screen, wireless display, wireless mirroring, Quick Connect, Smart View, or Screen Sharing.

How to set up your ScreenBeam Mini2 in 3 Quick Steps
Step 1: Plug the USB cable’s small male connector into the ScreenBeam Mini2 receiver power port.
Step 2: Plug the receiver into an available HDMI port on your HDTV.
Step 3: Plug the USB cable’s large male connector to an available USB port on the TV. This powers the ScreenBeam Mini2.*
Once the ScreenBeam Mini2 finishes loading, a “Ready to Connect” screen should appear on your HDTV screen. You’re ready to go!
* If the TV screen remains black, it means your TV may not be supplying enough power. In this case, plug the USB cord into a spare phone charger and plug it in to an outlet.
