Disney OTT Just for Millennials
Following the launch of ESPN+, and as part of Disney’s overall streaming initiatives, the company will launch a streaming service just for millennials in 2019. The Oh My Disney brand will manage and promote the new service that will include short-form video and social content geared toward the younger audience.
Disney’s focus is to promote brand-safe content and ensure advertisers market compatibility with their audience. President of advertising sales at Disney, Rita Ferro, commented, “We know that our clients and advertisers are looking for unique, compelling, brand-safe, and diverse ways to reach audiences at scale.”
