With deployments multiplying in regions like North America, China, and Europe, a new study finds that DOCSIS 3.1 and G.fast are poised to carry the cable and DSL CPE market segments forward. “We expect both DOCSIS 3.1 and G.fast to help add momentum to the cable and DSL CPE market segments and FTTH to continue at its current pace,” said one analyst after studying the matter.
